Shore Wading

On this trip, we head out from shore on one or more of the flats in search of Bonefish, Permit and other flats species found here. This can be one of the stealthiest ways to fish and in my opinion produces the best flats fishing. I’ll walk the flat with you and spot these elusive fish, then guide you toward that perfect cast!

The Skiff “Mad Dog”

My 17ft skiff is perfect for fishing the coastline and outer reef. On this trip we can fish for bonefish and permit on the flats either from the boat or get out and wade! The skiff is also perfect for targeting bigger migratory tarpon along Tobago’s coastline and bays and all species can be targeted on the same trip.

Tarpon Tides

This is a 17 ft flats skiff that I use in the back country lagoons. The back country lagoon is stunning and almost always sheltered from the wind making it a fly fisherman’s dream. Here in the mangrove tarpon and snook ranging from 5 to 20lbs can be caught in big numbers. Its common to have over 20 releases on a single trip!! Many other species are caught here as well, barracuda, snapper, and jacks to name a few.
